We are the SILENTSYS team, spin off of the University of Neuchâtel in Switzerland, that develops, produces and commercializes innovative ultralow noise systems covering laser sources, microwave-signal sources and electronic modules. Thanks to our well-established know-how and our patented designs, SILENTSYS offers high-performance systems that are compact, easy to use and affordable.
Our goal is to provide systems that are highly compatible with the needs of emerging industrial and laboratory applications such as those related to quantum technologies (Communications, Cryptography, Computing, Metrology, Sensing…).

Pierre is the Project Leader of SILENTSYS. He is a laser scientist specialized in time and frequency metrology with a PhD obtained at the Time and Frequency Laboratory of the University of Neuchâtel, in Switzerland. He worked with ultra-low phase noise and frequency stable oscillators, like mode-locked lasers, continuous wave lasers and micro-wave / radio-frequency signals. He is now leading the project SILENTSYS with a very high motivation.
Dr. Pierre Brochard
François is the second-command of SILENTSYS. He obtained a PhD in Physics at the Paris-Sud University in the group of Prof. Fabian Zomer at the Laboratoire de l’Accélérateur Linéaire. After a first postdoctoral research experience in the group of Prof. Jun Ye at the University of Colorado, he joined the group of Prof. Thomas Südmeyer at the Time and Frequency laboratory. François is a laser scientist specialized in ultrafast laser development and frequency combs. Looking for new challenges in industry, he joined the SILENTSYS venture to put his skills at use in a very motivated team.
